My Kidlets with Jo-Jo

Meet Jo-Jo. She has been with me for 13+ years and she loves to quilt. She was recently diagnosed with diabetes and now has to endure weekly vet visits and shots two times a day.

I love her.

Now comes the weird part. People name their sewing machines. Yes, it seems odd to most but you develop a bond with your machine. Some days that bond is difficult and other days the machine feels like an extension of your body. But it always feels like friend. So, I've decided to name my machine Jo-Jo.

Yes, I know it is bizarre but my kitty takes it as a compliment.

Here's a photo of GooseyGirl learning the basics of longarm quilting.

My APQS Millenium

My APQS Millennium was set up a couple of weeks ago by Dave Jones of Michigan. He did a wonderful job showing me the nuts and bolts of the machine and got it up and running in no time.

For his trouble I made him a Kentucky Derby-esque pie. Think warm gooey chocolate chip cookie in a crust. Slurp!
